Data & Analytics Manager

A leading organization is looking for a Data and Analytics Manager to join their Business Transformation team. The role will involve collaborating with clients to create, develop, and implement processes and tools that unlock the full potential of their most valuable asset—data. The team focuses on helping clients define data strategies, build automation processes, and develop visualizations and predictive analytics tools to deliver impactful solutions and help clients achieve their business goals.

The Data and Analytics Manager will be responsible for managing client projects, communicating business objectives to cross-functional stakeholders, and providing input on business process operations and data analytics tool specifications. The position requires the ability to work independently while also collaborating with key stakeholders across the client organization to drive transformation initiatives. Additional responsibilities will include scope development, budget creation and monitoring, and the development of internal tools and templates to support team development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Translate data and analytics into actionable insights, creating clear and concise reports that present findings to clients.

  • Design and execute the transformation and analysis of large structured and unstructured datasets, including both quantitative and qualitative data.

  • Use strong problem-solving skills to manage projects from start to finish, implementing data analytics solutions across client organizations.

  • Work closely with stakeholders to understand business needs and maintain strong relationships with internal and external teams.

  • Manage cross-functional engagements that may include accounting/finance, FP&A, modeling, and/or technology implementation.

  • Effectively communicate complex technical topics to non-technical audiences, fostering collaboration and client success.

  • Oversee individual workflow and task responsibilities to ensure projects are completed efficiently.

Skills and Competencies:

  • Proficiency in Alteryx, Power Automate, PowerBI, Tableau

  • Expertise in data architecture and data modeling/analytics

  • Strong data visualization skills and experience in analytics

  • Advanced Excel skills (e.g., VLOOKUP, SUMIF, INDEX/MATCH, IF statements)

  • Background in finance and accounting

  • Proficient in programming languages (e.g., SQL, Java, Python, R)

  • Experience with data platforms such as Snowflake or Databricks

  • Knowledge of data engineering, solution architecture, and workflow automation

  • Strong communication, presentation, and project management skills

Core Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Accounting/Finance, Information Systems, Statistics, Computer Science).

  • CPA or other relevant certifications are preferred.

  • Experience in analytics, ideally in a client service or consulting environment.

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to present technical concepts to non-technical audiences.

  • Excellent problem-solving abilities, with a focus on providing ad-hoc solutions to business challenges.

  • Experience in managing projects and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver client-driven solutions.
