Director
The Banking team within FP&A plays a critical role in supporting one of the largest business segments at a leading financial institution. This position involves close collaboration with the COO function of the Banking division and various corporate teams to analyze commercial dynamics and their impact on regional strategy. A strong understanding of investment and/or corporate banking operations is essential.
Successful candidates will have experience working across teams, engaging in interdisciplinary projects, and effectively collaborating with peers.
FP&A Scope:
Budgeting, forecasting, and reporting on revenues, costs, and balance sheet/capital.
Serving as a primary interface between the Front Office and senior management to provide insights that enhance decision-making and drive performance.
Requirements:
10+ years of FP&A experience, preferably within financial services.
Strong business writing, presentation, and financial data analysis skills.
Ability to engage with senior front-office stakeholders to optimize profitability and returns.
Experience managing a matrixed budget across products, clients, and entities.
Knowledge of investment banking products, risk and balance sheet management, transfer pricing, and cost allocation methodologies.
Proven experience managing staff and collaborating across finance teams to drive results.
Proficiency in Microsoft applications (PowerPoint, Excel) and financial systems (SAP, Hyperion, etc.).
