eCommerce Sales Manager

Seeking a dynamic and experienced eCommerce Sales Manager to develop and drive our online sales strategy across multiple channels. This is a strategic role focusing on establishing and growing the company’s product listings across various online partners. You will be responsible for crafting and executing a comprehensive marketplace strategy to establish a presence on platforms such as Amazon, Walmart.com, and other online retail partners. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of ecommerce best practices, consumer behavior, and industry trends, and will be able to develop and execute strategies to maximize revenue, enhance customer engagement, and drive growth.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategy Development: Lead the development and implementation of comprehensive ecommerce strategies aligned with company sales goals, focusing identifying new partnership opportunities and platforms for expansion, and implement strategies to increase sales and profitability across all marketplaces.

 

  • Website Management: Manage and optimize the online product catalog, including product descriptions, images, and pricing. Coordinate with inventory team to ensure adequate product supply for platforms.

  • Omni-Channel Integration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, and product, to ensure seamless operations. Write SOPs for marketplace cross-functional processes.

  • Analytics and Reporting: Forecast and track sales trends and profits within each channel. Monitor and analyze marketplace metrics to identify trends and sales opportunities. Provide regular reports on marketplace performance to senior management such as tracking sell-through data, patterns and trends across platforms.

  • Marketing and Promotion: Stay up-to-date with trends and innovations in e-commerce, and make recommendations for improvement. Collaborate with the marketing team to improve quality, traffic acquisition and develop promotional strategies.

  • Business Development: Manage and develop high-level partnerships and negotiate with vendors and third-party platforms to ensure the company receives the best possible service and support.

Job Qualifications

Required

  • Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in ecommerce management or related roles, preferably in the consumer goods industry.

  • Demonstrated success in developing and implementing ecommerce strategies that have significantly increased sales and market share, with a strong understanding of ecommerce technologies, platforms, and best practices.

  • Comfortable presenting data insights to company partners and external parties.

  • Excellent communication, leadership, and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence and inspire cross-functional teams.

  • Strategic thinker with a self-starting mindset, creative problem-solving abilities, and a passion for driving innovation and excellence in ecommerce.

Preferred

  • Proficiency in web analytics tools and ecommerce platforms would be viewed very favorably.

  • Previous experience working with a large SKU portfolio a plus connections
