Tax Accounting and Compliance Manager
The Tax Accounting and Compliance Manager plays a key role in overseeing global tax provision computations, tax compliance, and special projects. A strong understanding of ASC 740, tax law, general accounting principles, and tax compliance is essential for success in this role. You will work closely with senior leadership, including the Tax Partner and Tax Director, and will have high visibility in the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the preparation and review of quarterly and annual income tax provisions, including both current and deferred tax analysis, in accordance with ASC 740 for multiple clients.
Leverage tax accounting knowledge to prepare quarterly and annual tax provision workpapers and support tax returns.
Prepare federal and state "C-Corp" income tax returns (stand-alone and consolidated) using tax software.
Support tax planning and special projects as needed.
Build strong relationships with clients and collaborate closely with the broader tax team.
Mentor and develop junior team members, fostering a collaborative and supportive environment.
Conduct tax research on federal, state, and international tax issues and document findings in tax memoranda.

Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and corporate tax return software; experience with GoSystems, OneSource, or CorpTax is a plus.
Strong collaborative skills with the ability to communicate across different technical backgrounds and roles.
Self-starter with the confidence to thrive in a flexible and dynamic work environment.
Education and Experience:
Minimum of 5+ years of experience in corporate tax accounting or Big-4 public accounting.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field required; CPA certification preferred, MST is a plus.
Willingness to travel to client sites locally as needed.
